Maryland Professional Employees Council Election of Officers and Delegates to Convention
In accordance with the Constitution and Bylaws of the Maryland Professional Employees Council (MPEC), AFT-Maryland, American Federation of Teachers (AFT), AFL-CIO, the Nominations Form for the election of Executive Officers and the Convention Delegates to the AFT Convention, the AFT-Maryland Convention, and the Maryland State AFL-CIO Convention is attached.
As provided in the bylaws of Local 6197, any full member of Bargaining Unit G who has been in good standing for at least six months prior to the date of the election is eligible to nominate candidates and run for office. The term of office will run for two years, beginning October 28, 2026.
The Election Committee is: Lorrie Kirschner-DHCD (Chair), Jukia McIntyre-MDH, and Daniel Schultz MLGCA.
Nominations must be received using the form below and submitted no later than October 7, 2026, at 4:30 p.m.
