Plan to come to Annapolis on Monday night, April 3rd, to help us lobby for pension enhancements for all state employees, teachers, and paraprofessionals. There will be a rally at Lawyer’s Mall in Annapolis (next to the State House) on Monday, April 3rd at .The rally is the annual AFL-CIO Night in Annapolis and will involve all area unions as well as MPEC. We are planning to have a bus leave from the Baltimore Teachers Union building at 5800 Metro Drive. If you are interested in riding the bus, please call us ASAP at 410-764-3030.Any last minute updates will be posted on the Website. Keep an eye on it. http://md.aft.org/mpec
You can also park at the Navy Marine Corp Stadium in Annapolis and ride the free shuttle bus down and back. Enter on Taylor Avenue side Gate # 5. Shuttles run until on Monday nights during the session.
