The MPEC Bargaining team is pleased to present the Tentative Agreement for the 2018-2020 contract, to the MPEC bargaining unit.  There are two documents for review.  The TA document includes all of the language changes that were made.  Additionally, a lot of work was put in to the new Bullying in the Workplace policy, which is included.  Please come to any of the workplace information sessions that we have planned to learn more about the Tentative Agreement.  If you have additional questions, feel free to email us at MPEC@mpecmd.org.  Ballots are in the mail for the ratification and should be

The MPEC bargaining team reached an agreement with the state on December 31st for FY 2023.

All eligible employees will receive a step increase in July 2023 or January 2024, based on the hire date.

All eligible employees will also receive a 2% cola beginning July 2023, which the bargaining team negotiated in the previous year.

These negotiations also resulted in annual salary reviews for certain classifications and policy changes to pay for promotions and reclassifications (MOU Article 5, Section 5). There will no longer be a 12% pay cap. The new policy allows a 6% increase in salary per

The COVID-19 pandemic has forced change upon us.
